On this day tour we'll visit San Gimignano, a small walled hill-top town often referred as "Medieval Manhattan" for its many medieval towers skyscrapered skyline.
Here you'll have the opportunity to visit the Collegiata church and museum containing 15th century frescoes, the Palazzo del Popolo, actually the municipal museum containing Renaissance paintings, or simply roam around the narrow streets and admire the village's surviving towers.
On the way to Siena we'll visit Monteriggioni, a walled medieval fortress that sits on top of a hill surrounded by the picturesque Tuscany countryside.
Once in Siena you'll have time at leisure for lunch in a typical trattoria or in a gourmet restaurant. The afternoon is entirely available to vist this fascinating city: Piazza Del Campo wich is one of the most beautiful squares in all of Italy and where the Palio bareback horse race takes place twice a year, the Torre del Mangia, the City Hall, the magnificent Cathedral with its glorious Piccolomini Library and the Metropolitan Cathedral Museum. On request we can provide a licensed local guide for a 3 hrs walking tour of the city.
As option, you can choose to have lunch and visit a winery in the Chianti area between San Gimignano or at the famous Enoteca Italiana in Siena.

Booking and Payment procedure

Please email us indicating the total number of passengers in your party, where you need to be picked up, preferred pick up time and vehicle model requested.

You will receive the rate for your private Siena and San Gimignano day tour in our quotation email, which will include the credit card authorization form you will use to confirm the service.

Once we process your credit card we will send you a confirmation email which will specify all the data relative to your Siena and San Gimignano day tour.
